ScrapperScan 2.0 is here.

One week ago, ScrapperScan checked Disney pins. Today it authenticates Lorcana cards against the official database, tells you what your collection is worth, and weighs both sides of a trade before you shake on it. 2.0 is live on the App Store — here's everything inside.

Lorcana Mode: card authentication, grounded in the official database

The headline feature. Scan any Disney Lorcana trading card and ScrapperScan identifies the exact card, pulls its official database scan, and compares your card against it — typography, set symbol, artwork print quality, border cut, and the card back. You watch the verification run live: identification, reference match, print geometry, score. Because every check happens against the genuine reference, the verdict isn't an opinion about cards in general — it's a comparison against your card's official printing.

Scanned a card you love? Tap through to see every other card in its set and which ones you already own. Read the full story in our Lorcana announcement.

Know what it's worth — pins and cards

Identified pins now show an estimated value range from live eBay listings, right under the verdict. Lorcana cards show current TCGplayer market prices. And your Home screen adds it all up: your collection's total estimated value, tracked as you scan.

Why our numbers are different

Every value in ScrapperScan sits next to an authenticity verdict — because a price only means something if the item is real. Value guides that ignore fakes get skewed by them; ours assumes authentic and tells you whether that assumption holds. More on this in what makes a Disney pin valuable.

Trade Check: weigh a trade before you shake on it

Pick the items you'd give and the items you'd get — pins, cards, or both — and see everything on one screen: each item's authenticity verdict, each item's value, side totals, and an honest read on the balance. "Roughly balanced," or the dollar gap. It's information, not advice: sentiment counts in trading, and the decision stays yours. But you'll never again find out after the trade that the pin you gave up was worth three of what you got.

A whole new look

2.0 is a complete redesign: a night-first dark stage across every screen, guided capture with framing brackets tuned for pins and for cards, a results screen that glows with your item's own colours, a faster Collection with per-item values, and a Home dashboard that puts your collection's worth, your latest verdicts, and your free scans in one glance.
